@Fora of The Commons & associated programs

A significant portion of my contribution to the public interest programs under The Commons involves the creation and maintenance of the rather ambitious websites that we have built up in support of each targeted program area over the years (with the help of an international network of colleagues with strong backgrounds and hands-on experience in each area).
The links that follow will take you directly to the most active of our current programs, each followed by its own 'discussion forum' (and in several cases 'cafes' which are more open fora for informal exchanges and brainstorming as indicated). The latter offer a modest but effective interactive communications toolset for each program -- a fully tailored real-time Communications Center, Public Library, and shared Media & Links Filing Cabinet for the free use of our colleagues and visitors. A quick visit to the site in question will quickly clarify how they work.

(This portion of our distributed problem-solving process is currently handled through a free subscription arrangement with YahooGroups, and offers a number of useful capabilities. It will in time be repalced, buyt for now the price (it's free) and pretty good efficiney argue for it.)
